Whitehead has been producing original concept, corporate sponsored specialty entertainment programs

since 1971. Sales of over 180 million eight track, LP, cassette, CD, and DVD units include 3 triple-platinum,

6 double-platinum, 21 platinum, and 17 gold albums.  Whitehead has produced multi-platinum recordings in each of the past four decades, worked on records and live television on six continents, and negotiated well over a thousand entertainment agreements.


Career highlights:

 Audio for film and television credits include, works for Columbia Pictures, NBC, Miramax,

Columbia Tri-Star, Disney, ABC, VH-1, Fox, PAX, and PBS.

 The PBS credit includes 1999 Cinema Audio Society’s “Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing”

for Ray Charles In Concert live in Miami with Ray’s rhythm section and symphony orchestra.

 The VH-1 credit includes an Emmy nomination for “Best Sound Mixing” of the The One and Only

Aretha Franklin - Divas Live 2001.

 Developed four distinct $100 million revenue streams at Hallmark Cards (2,) Victoria’s Secret, and

Walt Disney

 Produced the Number 3 and 4 best selling classical albums of all time. Of the twenty true classical

albums to achieve platinum status, Whitehead produced nine.

 Conceptualized, produced from scratch, and sold over 15 million units of classical music at

Victoria’s Secret (88-97)

 Conceptualized and delivered the Hallmark Cards Christmas music program undertaken in 1985

and averages 2mm units per year.

 Produced Placido Domingo’s first platinum album (‘86)

 First producer to have platinum record albums with the three premier English orchestras: London

Symphony, Royal Philharmonic and London Philharmonic

 Produced the title track and three additional selections on Kodak’s Atlanta Olympic ‘96 album (1.4

mm sales)

 Two Disney albums (cumulative sales of over 5 mm) remained at the top of Billboard Kids Charts

for over 28 years, the only multi-platinum productions on the Kids Chart in 23 of those years

 Produced the first platinum performance of Tchaikovsky‘s “The Nutcracker” with the Royal

Philharmonic (‘86) and followed with the London Symphony (‘94) triple platinum performance

 Conceptualized and produced Disney’s Mickey Mouse Disco at over 3.6 million sales, largest

children’s (non soundtrack) album of all time
